Better than adding microbes or enzymes

There are a number of companies that sell products that add microbes or enzymes directly to the system, but they have some serious disadvantages compared to Septikos®.

Disadvantages to microbes and enzymes:
• Targeted to specific wastes, leaving some substances untouched
• Each enzyme only good for one use
• They wash through system within a few days

• Introduction of foreign microbes into the system and environment
• Degradation is delayed until after native microbes and additive microbes battle for dominance
• Constant Inflow of native microbes means constant battle
• Essential nutrients are still missing for effective degradation

• Users are expected not to use any water for six hours or more after use

• Less effective after long storage periods
• Many products contain at least 90 percent fillers

Advantages of Septikos
• Begins to multiply microbial population immediately
• Multiplies native microbe population
• Special coating sticks to wastes in pipes and tank
• Nutrients are available where wastes are worst
• Time-release action means nutrients are available long after input
• Consistently larger and healthier microbe population degrades old and new waste and kills pathogens

• Larger microbe population streams into leach field and degrades buildup
