Occasionally, customers are so impressed with the results they get from using Septikos^®, they are moved to write us and let us know about it. Here is a sampling of those letters.

The purpose of this letter is to compliment you on the efficacy of your product, Septikos^®. I will explain in the following paragraphs my own happy experience with this product.

I own a summer home in British Columbia, Canada. The soil type is mostly sandy loam, but there are significant amounts of clay at depths below five feet. The septic tank, approximately 500 gallons, was installed in 1977. The system is used about six months a year. In 1987, the system became "overloaded" and required pumping. Following this, the system worked well for about eight more years. At the end of the 1994 season, drainage became slow and some back-up occurred. To avoid a further pump-out, I first used RID-X for several months. This was unsuccessful, so I then used a product from Krane Inc. which also did not reduce the sluggish behavior of the system.

In desperation, I then used Septikos^®. Initially, I used 1/2 pound every two weeks for the first two months. During this time the systems was only used on weekends and the laundry load was very light. Later in the summer, the system was used regularly and the laundry load was very heavy. To my great surprise, there were no further problems with the system. In particular, there was no sluggishness and no back-ups. Since that time, I have continued with regular administration of 1/2 pound per month and the system continues to work perfectly!

Since your product has saved me the expense and inconvenience of a second pump-out, I am obviously grateful. I will continue to use your product regularly and have recommended it highly to my friends.

My next door neighbor also used your product for two years until he moved. Deed restrictions here require that the septic tank be pumped before selling the home. The pump truck operator was very surprised when he inspected the septic tank. He said that it was the cleanest tank he had ever seen -- especially for its age -- and that there was nothing to pump out.

I have been using your product, Septikos^®, in my septic tank of the past year. I must say, I believe it is performing way above my expectations.

I live in Charlotte, NC. The soil is primarily red clay with some topsoil. Each winter, the rainfall saturates the ground and my septic field would become like a swamp. There was a pronounced odor each year as the winter ended and the spring came in. I tried several different septic tank additions to address this issue. Once we had our first child, the water demand for laundry and the like lead me to install an additional drain line. This gave the 900-gallon tank four gravity fed drain lines to clear the system. Even with the addition of this 4th line, the septic system efficiency was poor.

Since I have begun adding Septikos^®, my septic field problems have gone. No more soggy ground and no more bad smell. I can't imagine using any other product.
